Full Yard Landscape Installation — Phoenix Metro

Design through dirt — one crew, one plan, the whole property.

Piecemeal yards look piecemeal. A full install lets us set grades, drainage, and material transitions so the turf, pavers, and rock read as one field. Big League Landscaping builds front and backyards across the Phoenix metro as a single job — one crew, one plan, one point of contact from the walk to handover.

You are not coordinating three subcontractors who have never met. We walk the lot, design the yard at the house, and build it in the right order: grade and drainage, hardscape, irrigation sleeves, turf and rock, plantings, lighting. The sequence is the product. Skip it and you get a patio that fights the lawn and a drip line no one can find.

Full installs are the sweet spot — tired rye fronts, dirt backyards, the house that just closed and still looks like a tract lot. We also take a-la-carte work. If the whole property is the brief, this is the page.

  • Front and backyard transformations
  • Turf + pavers + rock in one sequence
  • Grading, drainage, and plantings
  • One point of contact from walk to handover

The playbook

How a job runs

01

Walk the lot

Measure, grade-check, dogs, kids, entertaining, HOA. We talk about how you live in the yard, not a mood board from somewhere with rain.

02

Design the yard

Layout, materials, plants, the full picture — at the house, with you — before anyone swings a tool.

03

Build the field

One crew, tight site, daily progress. Pavers, turf, rock, and irrigation in the right order so transitions stay clean.

04

Hand over the keys

Walkthrough, controller settings, and a yard that is ready to live in — not a punch list that lasts all summer.

Phoenix heat & water

Built for the Valley, not a catalog.

A Phoenix full install is a climate project. We pitch water away from the house, put irrigation in the ground before the pretty layer, and choose plants that will not cook on a west wall. Turf goes where people play. Rock goes where a lawn would be a bill. Shade and circulation are designed, not hoped for.

Monsoon will test every joint and every low spot. We compact and drain like we expect August, because we do. The Valley does not negotiate. A full yard that ignores that looks expensive for one season and tired for five.

Materials

What goes in the ground

A full install is a mix — we do not force turf where rock belongs, or rock where the kids need a lawn:

  • Artificial turf with a real base on play lawns and parkways
  • Paver patios, walks, and driveways that hold a line
  • Decorative rock, DG, and boulder work as the designed ground plane
  • Drip irrigation zoned to the plant — in the ground before we close the field
  • Desert trees, cactus, and color planted to mature size
  • Low-voltage lighting when the yard has to work after dark

Questions

How long does a full yard take?+

Most residential full installs land in days to a few weeks depending on access, HOA, and material lead times. You get a schedule before we break ground.

Can I still do just turf or just pavers later?+

Yes. Full installs are the sweet spot, but we take a-la-carte work every week. If you want a phase plan, say so on the walk.

Do you design, or do I need an outside designer?+

We sit down at the house and design the yard with you. Complex architectural work can involve other trades. Most residential lots do not need a second firm to pick pavers and plants.

Do you cover the East Valley and West Valley?+

The entire Phoenix metro. Mesa to Surprise, Chandler to Anthem. If we can walk it, we can build it.

One crew. The whole property.
