Commercial Landscape Installation in Phoenix

Property-ready installs for offices, retail, HOAs, and multi-family.

Commercial work has to survive HOA boards, property managers, and July. Big League Landscaping installs landscape for office parks, retail pads, HOA common areas, multi-family, and monument beds across the Phoenix metro. We spec plants and hardscape that look sharp on day one and still look owned in year five.

Entries, parking islands, turf parkways, and the strip the city sees from the arterial — that is the job. Drought-tolerant, low-maintenance, and built so a crew can keep it without a weekly water truck. We keep the site walkable while we work and we do not treat a commercial lot like a backyard with a bigger invoice.

Managers call us when the islands are overwatered and tired, when a new pad needs a first-time install, or when an HOA is tired of explaining brown rye. We bid clearly, schedule honestly, and leave a property that photographs like someone is in charge.

The playbook

How a job runs

01

Walk with the manager

Access, tenants, irrigation clocks, HOA rules, and what cannot be blocked on a Tuesday. We measure the real constraints.

02

Spec for year five

Plants that mature without eating the sidewalk. Rock and turf that a maintenance crew can actually keep. Materials that match the building.

03

Phase the site

Work in sections so parking and entries stay usable. Clean site, daily progress, no surprise dumpsters in the ADA stall.

04

Hand over the clocks

Irrigation schedule, plant list, and a walkthrough with whoever owns the property after we leave.

Phoenix heat & water

Built for the Valley, not a catalog.

Phoenix commercial landscape dies from the wrong water and the wrong plant. Parking islands bake. West elevations cook. A thirsty lawn on a common area is a line item that never ends. We design for drip, desert trees, and hardscape that does not need a weekly specialist.

Heat also kills cheap installs: faded rock, failed turf edges, irrigation that floods the walk. We compact, edge, and zone like the property manager is going to send photos in August. Because they will.

Materials

What goes in the ground

Commercial specs favor durability and a maintenance story, not a nursery special:

  • Drought-tolerant trees and shrubs that belong in the Sonoran — palo verde, mesquite, desert museum, agave
  • Decorative rock and DG with edges that survive blowers and monsoon
  • Commercial-grade turf where a green parkway is the brief — with a real base
  • Paver or concrete accents at entries and monuments when the building needs a court
  • Irrigation zoned for islands, turf, and trees — not one valve for the whole pad
  • Low-voltage lighting on monuments and trees when the night elevation matters

Questions

Do you work with property managers and HOAs?+

Yes. Clear bids, photos, and a site that stays usable. We have no interest in surprising a board.

Can you maintain after install?+

We are an install shop. We will hand over a yard a maintenance crew can keep, and we will come back for warranty and add-on work. Ask us how you want it handed off.

Do you take small commercial pads or only large campuses?+

Both. A single retail pad and a multi-building common area are the same craft at different scale. If we can staff it, we will bid it.

Are you licensed for commercial work in Arizona?+

Yes. Big League Landscaping LLC is an Arizona licensed and insured contractor (ROC #309212 — Specialty Dual CR-21 Hardscaping and Irrigation Systems) based in Phoenix.
